Day 01
Arrive Kathmandu. Upon arrival meet and assist by our representative in the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 02
In the morning after breakfast sightseeing tour of the most holy Hindu temple of Nepal, Pashupatinath and the surrounding areas. From Pashupatinath drive for a few minutes to reach Boudhanath. This is the largest stupa of Nepal.

In the afternoon we drive to “the temple of monkeys”, Swayambhunath, which is considered to be as more than two thousand years old. Situated in the top of the hillock, this stupa has magnificent view of the Kathmandu valley. The evening is free for walking around the capital. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 03
After breakfast, we drive to Dhulikhel. This is a small hill station from were we can see some good views of the Himalayas and the valley. From Dhulikhel we proceed to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is the third major city of the Kathmandu valley, and we will visit its Durbar square which although larger that the one in Kathmandu, has fewer temples due to an earthquake in 1934. We also visit the Nyatapola Temple, situated at a height of 98ft, which is not only the highest temple in the valley but also one of the best examples of traditional Nepali Temple architecture. A major German funded project brought pavements and sewers, but Bhaktapur is still the most distinctly medieval of the three cities. The main occupations are weaving, pottery and forming, and the houses are traditionally of brick with intricate wood carving for decoration.

In the afternoon, visit to Patan. This medieval city is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments with Bronze gateways, Guardian deities and wonderful carving. It is also known as the city of arts. The major attractions of Patan are: Durbar Square, Krishna Mandir and Kumbheshwar. On the way one can also see the Tibetan Refugee Camp and the handicraft Center. Overnight in hotel.

Day 04
After breakfast, at the arranged time, Drive to the Chitwan National Park, in the south of the country. The journey takes about 6 hours, on a road with beautiful landscapes. In the afternoon, a sightseeing tour of the resort surroundings, where we will can see the varied vegetation and the large number of birds which live in the park. Overnight at the Jungle Lodge.

Day 05
After breakfast, we visit into the jungle on elephant back. We will be looking for rhinoceroses, a feature of this nature reserve. With a little luck we will also see the Royal Bengal Tiger. gazelles, monkeys and other animals will appear in front of our eyes in complete liberty. Return to the resort to have lunch. In the afternoon we go on another trip in a bark canoe, typical of this area. We will glide gently along the river near the resort and if it is the right time of the year we will be able to see the crocodiles, which live there at close quarters. Overnight at the Jungle Lodge.

Day 06
After we have had breakfast, the hotel’s jeep will take us back to the place where our vehicle is waiting. We will drive back to Kathmandu on a beautiful road with good views of the lowland and upland areas of the country. Arrival in Kathmandu mid-afternoon. Rest of the day free. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 07
Free day in Kathmandu. At the arranged time, transfer to the airport.
